Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Chemical Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 Month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and perform analysis on materials and technologies from a chemical perspective and its processes, within areas such as organic and nonorganic materials, fluid properties, surface treatment, etc.
• Apply practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.
• Take the lead on own tasks and work/plan independently.
• Engage proactively with learning opportunities and ongoing professional development.
• Show potential for longer-term development.

Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in evaluating and analyzing materials and technologies from a chemical perspective.
• Knowledge of organic and nonorganic materials, fluid properties, and surface treatment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
