POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of application packages. Individuals assist in collaborating with functional areas, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. They assist in assessing business objectives and design business processes for objectives so they may be effectively modeled, configured and measured within the package application environment. Individuals assist in communicating application package capabilities and possibilities to designated functional areas, while seeking ways to collaborate with IT members to facilitate transition to and support of the application package.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with business analysis and process design within the enterprise in the analysis and redesign of application package functions and processes.
• Assist in the formulation of and definition of application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems.
• Assist in communicating application package capabilities/possibilities.
• Develop business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute integration and volume tests to ensure successful implementation and support efforts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the ability to express technical concepts in business terms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers
• Identifies unexpressed customer needs and potential products/ services to meet those needs
• Is self-sufficient and motivated to take action and grow and develop

 COMPENSATION

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $68,480 to $102,720.
