About This Opportunity

Job Overview:

Supervises a team of Information Technology Services personnel; develops corporate policies, programs and procedures as they relate to IT; ensures compliance with company and store policies, procedures, standards and goals.

Core Responsibilities:

Supervises, hires, trains, evaluates and motivates a team of ITS personnel ranging across a variety of specialized disciplines
Understands the business areas being supported well; works with the business areas for preparation of business plans, strategic directions, and resolution of problems
Directs and coordinates the work plans and activities of those personnel assigned to and ensures requirements and quality of work are met at the expected level
Provides guidance and direction on problems, solutions. system parameters and modifications; conducts operational walk-throughs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency of systems, programs and solutions
Provides information, advice, and staff assistance to management regarding new hardware and software
Negotiate with vendors to maximize return on expenditures for supplies, maintenance agreements and capital purchases
Propose changes in operations and/or established systems in an effort to enhance controls or improve efficiencies through better use of technology
Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of a VS rating on the last two annual reviews.
Demonstrate expertise with MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues.
Excellent time management skills and ability to track multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent understanding of intra-department operations.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Education:Bachelor's Degree of equivalent education and experience

-IT or Business Related Field

Other Skills:

5+ years professional ITS experience preferred.
Equivalent experience leading a team or project management.
Supervisor Experience
