About This Role
A Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II will provide customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsible for vial automated visual inspection machine, including conveyor systems and/or Tray Loaders. This role will also assist with Manufacturing Filling equipment, Isolators, Vial Washers, Autoclaves, and Parts Washers. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles.
This position will work a Monday-Friday schedule working from 7am - 3:30pm.
What You'll Do
- Assist with Set up and adjusts operating equipment
- Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors to resolve recurring issues.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties.
- Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logbooks.
- Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders * Schedules workload with planner.
- Perform small projects as directed by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
This work requires occasionally climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as working in clean spaces where gowning is required. Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR
- Associate's Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- This role also requires overtime, off hours and rotating on-call to support customers.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Garvey conveyor systems and/or Tray Loaders.
- Knowledge of Koerber Seidendader Automated Visual Inspection Machines and SV Observer software.
- Knowledge of Cartoner machines.
- Knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments preferred.
- Knowledge of CMMS system.
- Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out to energized systems.
