Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Technician in the city of Rancho Cucamonga



As a Manufacturing Technician you will:

Operates and maintains downstream secondary equipment.

* Measures, weighs, and counts products and materials; removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas.

* Loads products and materials into package processing equipment.

* Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products.

* Inspects product packaging, containers, and materials to ensure that appearance, seals, and labels conform to established standards.

* Ensures that cases and pallets are configured safely and in accordance with standards.

* Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Cleans machinery, containers, materials, or work areas using cleaning solutions, sweeps floors and empties trash.

* Maintains scheduled production throughput to meet team goals for reliability and budget standards.

* Completes required documentation

. * Uses wrapping machines, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other equipment to prepare pallets of product for movement.

* Demonstrates and understands safety as a core value and follows the key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution; reinforces and coaches others to do the same

* Understands and follows established safety guidelines, consistently complies with all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, Lock Out Tag Out)

* Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs.

* Support EHS / Safety culture

* Maintains product quality through adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Monitors and documents quality measures using analytical tools.

* Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values

* Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.



This is a full time opportunity



The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Proven, reliable work history.

* Production or distribution environment

* Operation of manual and automated packaging equipment

* Performing quality tests using analytical tools

* Using manual or automated systems to gather and record on operational and quality metrics.



Pay Rate: $19+ Per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
