Our client is looking for a Media Library associate to join their Library Servicing team . The Library Servicing team handles numerous daily inquiries for clips and audio/video assets, as well as ongoing communication for projects in progress. The primary focus of the role is to work collaboratively with teammates on incoming and ongoing requests. The Media Library Associate will manage their workload by self-assigning projects, tracking progress, conducting asset research, soliciting necessary clearances, executing asset creation, and seeking support when needed. The role requires managing multiple projects at different stages to ensure a balanced workload. Each project will have unique requirements, and the ideal candidate will be adept at identifying these requirements and executing tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects, set priorities, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to communicate complex processes and data issues effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep-Dive Data Research/Quality Control: Act as a subject matter expert for the library, ensuring asset research accuracy, escalating anomalies or bugs, and developing workarounds when necessary to meet tight deadlines.
• Project Management: Balance multiple projects at various stages, ensuring fair workload distribution and adherence to requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete ongoing requests while maintaining communication on project progress.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written skills with an effortless ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with multiple teams on a variety of projects.
• Reliable; resourceful; pro-active in approach to questions, looks for solutions and information in creative ways.
• Flexible; embrace new assignments with a can-do attitude; will seek out opportunities to contribute without being asked.
• Experience in any type of asset management or library setting.
• Knowledge of physical asset formats- film, videotape, disc, etc.
• Passion for entertainment, TV and technology.
• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience (asset management, media production).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25 to $27 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
