Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Procurement Specialist to oversee and coordinate our procurement activities. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and services, from initial requisition to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, manage documentation, and contribute to contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from purchase requisition to purchase order issuance, material tracking, and receipt confirmation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary procurement documentation.
• Assist internal teams with contract negotiations.
• Monitor procurement activity and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Collect and analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Preferred:
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing supply chain operations.
  • 3+ years of experience providing analytical support in a project coordination or analyst role.
  • Familiarity with procurement management systems (e.g., SAP Ariba).
  • Experience in the utility industry.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.02 to $42.25 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
