JOB SUMMARY:
This role leads large IT projects in a complex and dynamic organization, utilizing waterfall and agile delivery models within a dedicated IT PMO. The position requires an experienced IT PM with exceptional communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders up to executive level. This role contributes to improving the health and refining the strategy of the broader PMO, to help ensure the PMO continues to deliver excellent value and achieve high customer satisfaction.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads significant IT project delivery including scoping, planning, resourcing, risk/issue management, status reporting, and day-to-day team oversight.
- Engages, influences, directs, and motivates project stakeholders and team members throughout project life cycle.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams to establish work plans for project activities. Creates staffing plans aligned to activities, iterations, or phases, and arranges for assignment of project personnel.
- Manages and runs effective meetings, creates meaningful agendas, and facilitates discussions. Documents and distributes notes, action items, and meeting summaries. Executes post-meeting follow-up and captures, tracks, and manages RAID items.
- Establishes and tracks financials for all aspects of managed projects, monitoring costs against budget using Medline PMO-supported tools (PWA, MPR).
- Manages escalations and issue resolution across the enterprise, negotiating between executives and sponsors to maximize value and ensure timely delivery.
- Demonstrates excellent monitoring and control, ensuring project delivery is accomplished with quality and timeliness, aligned to business objectives and achieving expected business value.
- Provides feedback to management on performance of project resources.
- Advances the Medline culture, ethics, and values, seeking opportunities to improve the employee and customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor's degree in technical or business field highly desired
PMP certification preferred
Relevant Work Experience
- 6+ years experience performing IT project management, ideally in the health care industry
- 2+or more years experience executing Agile/Scrum or hybrid programs
- Experience using tools such as Jira, MIRO boards, Confluence, and PPM systems is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$115,440.00 - $173,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
