It develops and drives engineering strategy, while enabling tech transformation by partnering closely with WIM product groups. About this role:

Wealth Management Data Solutions is seeking a world class Senior Data Engineer specializing in ETL tools and data transformations to build and optimize scalable data pipelines. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across various platforms. You will collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance data quality, performance, and accessibility. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in ETL frameworks, cloud data platforms, and automation, with a strong focus on optimizing data workflows for analytics and business intelligence.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2 + years of experience working with PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, ERWin, Hackolade or equivalent modeling tool
  • 2+ years of experience designing and deploying highly performant databases on one or more of Oracle, Postgres, Neo4j, MongoDB on premises or cloud

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to optimize database and application performance both by adoption of database techniques (partitioning, indexing) and query tuning and optimization
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Kafka
  • Ability to create deployment scripts and packaged deployments of database changes using automated deployment tools
  • Ability to code in Python, Java or .Net
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Wealth Investment Management business knowledge
  • Prior experience in the financial industry

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

    Pay Range

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

    $84,000.00 - $149,400.00
