Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months


Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology group. In this role, you will contribute to the development and support of internal applications that determine intraday business positions and calculate risk. The position involves enhancing existing capabilities, developing new features, and providing technical direction for various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and services, including .Net multi-threaded windows services.
  • Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
  • Partner with external teams, including developers, business stakeholders, and deployment teams.
  • Develop new capabilities and enhance existing ones while maintaining application support.
  • Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Work within an Agile Development framework with a global delivery team.
  • Identify and triage issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to application security standards and management policies.
Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL Server, API development, .NET, and Autosys is required. Candidates must have hands-on knowledge of ETL processes and Perl scripts.

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to the process testing domain.
  • Experience with performance tuning of ETL routines.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure knowledge, including NPT remediation.
  • Exposure to high-volume data loads.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD technologies.
