About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their Marketing Technology team within Consumer Technology. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will specifically work with the Content Management product and perform content hosting and infrastructure strategy and oversight tasks as part of an Agile delivery team. You will be responsible for working with Infrastructure teams and the execution of assets configuration supporting a Reverse Proxy configuration consisting of web servers, firewalls, load balancers and secure networks. The role will also interact with 3rd party vendors who host web content microsites and multiple Wells Fargo Line of Businesses such as Credit Card, Consumer, Small & Business Banking and Home Lending.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems – including a Reverse Proxy configuration, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Experience with systems deployment, configuration, and support experience in a large and complex IT environment consisting of Applications, Infrastructure, Network, and Security systems.
- Knowledge of DNS, Enterprise Proxy Servers, Web Application Firewalls, Firewalls, Load Balancers and Web Servers devices or assets
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Sound understanding of networking, application ports, and troubleshooting application issues on complex network including LAN, WAN, and Internet
- Certification or work experience in Networking, Switching, and routing would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of network connectivity constructs including protocols, switch configuration and routing
- Extensive hands-on experience in all Cisco Routers / Switches / Wireless devices; Cisco / Checkpoint Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, IP subnetting, Layer 2-4 stack understanding, VoIP, QoS, MPLS, SDWAN
- Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio
- Delivered workable end to end infrastructure solutions
- Participated in multiple test planning and execution
- Troubleshoot issues related to Firewalls/Load Balancers/Proxy appliances
