About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a qualified senior software engineer with hands on Java coding experience. They should have prior experience in taking requirements from business and coding, debugging production issues, build/deploy code to production. Candidate should demonstrate experience in dealing with complex software programs and coding for them. Candidate should also be skilled in Cloud based applications as our code base just recently converted over to a new cloud environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strongly Desire Experience in Java/Junits Web Application Development, Spring Framework / Spring Security, JavaScript, HTML / XML, SQL / SQL for DB2, Jquery

• Experience with Eclipse IDE (Integrated Development Environment) – nice to have or experience with comparable tooling

• Understanding and experience with SonarQube utilized for Java Analysis of Source Code

• Experience with Harness, utilized for deploying code to the cloud as well as Maven to build project code base – Both nice to have

• Experience in microservices (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven architecture

• Experience/knowledge with code management and continuous integration techniques and tools such as Gradle, GitHub, Jenkins

• Experience in modern application development practices such as CI/CD, Test Driven Development (TDD), Automation testing (BDD, Cucumber etc.) and DevOps

• Solid understanding of agile

• Experience/knowledge in monitoring and gathering metrics (Splunk, CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Elastic search etc)

• Experience with one cloud native technologies is plus like Azure - Azure Devops, Azure Webapp, Azure AD, AWS - EC2,Open Shift, Kubernetes
