The Role
Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI) organization is looking for a dynamic Senior Software Engineer specializing in test to join our team within Stock Plan Services (SPS) Technology tasked with taking our market leading equity compensation platform to a global market.
The Expertise You Have
5 years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
Expertise in TypeScript, Java, Karate and Playwright.
Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks and demonstrate proficiency, quality and passion in your coding ability.
Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or Postgres.
Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, Restful API's, Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka.
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Github.

The Team
You will be working with a team of technologists passionate about delivering Automation, Continuous Integration and Test Data ecosystems. This role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. As a technical associate, you will be working directly to shape our technology vision and will have a real impact on our Workplace Investing organizations success.
Stock Plan Services administers equity compensation programs on behalf of public and private companies offering various compensations programs such as: Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights and Performance based Awards. Currently SPS services over 1.6M participants employed by over 300 clients and spread out in 150 countries. The business is looking to further expand in the international equity compensation market, focused initially on western European countries and companies based there. As part of this business initiative, we are extending our capabilities to enable a truly global platform.
Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
