ABOUT THE ROLE
Honeywell is currently recruiting for aSr. HSE Engineer - Site HSE Leaderto join our team inFombell, PA.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HSE support for the Honeywell Electronic Materials business unit's manufacturing facility, partnering with cross-functional facility teams and leaders. You will lead various Health, Safety, and Environmental related activities to ensure regulatory and company requirement compliance.
You will interact with employees and supervisors to coach on HSE issues, influence personnel to improve HSE standards through use of standard work, Gembas, rapid problem solving, and visual management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation, monitoring and supporting HSE programs/policies to ensure compliance with applicable HS&E guidelines, regulations, permits and standards.
- Conduct HSE field assessments and audits.
- Assisting in the development of a HSE Training for employees
- Implementation, monitoring and supporting of company Behavior Based Safety Program.
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the site and as well as team in support of Honeywell's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems and Honeywell's Operating System related activities.
- Influence positive HSE behaviors and demonstrate hazard recognition to improve the Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced thespin-offof our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years Health and Safety experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
WE VALUE
- College Degree (Bachelor or Associates).
- HSE Certifications (CIH, RSO, CSP, CHMM, CET) highly desired.
- Strong Safety Background strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
- Proven experience facilitating safety culture.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to organize data into meaningful information.
- Effective communicator.
- Comfortable dealing with conflict.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Comfortable intervening and coaching, when necessary.
- Ability & desire to implement change across multiple levels.
