We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join the Client Reporting Technology team at a global financial services provider.

As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing the client and business experience by working with applications that facilitate the delivery of regulatory forms. This role involves working within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms application to manage forms content, implement the Digital Asset Manager (DAM), and contribute to the modernization of forms. You will collaborate closely with senior developers and product partners to shape and implement long-term strategies for form management and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• AEM Forms Development: Manage forms content within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, assisting with form distribution and modernization efforts.
• Component Implementation: Develop and implement various components within the AEM technical stack, supporting efficient and scalable form management and delivery.
• Digital Asset Manager (DAM): Build and manage the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) to streamline the storage, categorization, and distribution of digital assets associated with client forms.
• Collaboration: Partner with senior developers and product partners to understand technical requirements and implement solutions that align with Schwab's strategic vision for forms and client reporting.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Analyze and investigate reported software issues, ensuring that defects are resolved in a timely manner. Provide maintenance support for software solutions, addressing bugs and other system improvements.
• Testing: Develop and run unit tests for your software. Implement test plans and document test results to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Document software development processes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting results for client reporting and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a comparable software engineering or AEM development role, with a strong focus on form management and content delivery applications.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), specifically working with AEM forms, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and related AEM components.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with AEM Forms Author and AEM Sites.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and web services for form distribution and integration.
  • Understanding of client-side technologies and XML/XSLT for form rendering.
  • Unit testing experience, including writing and running tests for AEM components.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate software issues and identify effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and document technical specifications clearly.
