Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading and managing a team of software engineers across multiple delivery teams, providing mentorship to enhance skills and career development, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Sets clear goals and objectives for the software engineering team, aligned with the product roadmap and organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Oversees the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software projects.
- Stays updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating them into the team’s workflow when applicable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software application development or supervision
- Experience with mobile application development for iOS and Android is preferred.
- Understanding of C# or similar object-oriented programming language
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database management system
- Conceptual understanding of domain driven design and microservice architecture
