The Cyber and Network Solution Architect will play a central role in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, focusing on secure network architecture, system integration, and other security-related projects. This role will require experience with modern network monitoring tools, IT infrastructure deployment, and architectural design following industry best practices. The architect will work closely with project and program managers and engage in high-level planning and hands-on implementation. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Design
- Evaluate current network and security architecture and provide improvement recommendations.
- Develop architectural drawings and documentation of current and future network designs.
- Lead IT system integration planning to align with business needs.
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate constraints to propose design alternatives.
- Coordinate with project management teams to align technical architecture with project milestones.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding status, constraints, and resolution paths.
- Support process re-engineering and the application of emerging technologies.
- Maintain architecture compliance with enterprise and security standards.
Implementation
- Assist in planning and configuring infrastructure components for project deployments.
- Customize and implement software and hardware systems based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of deployment tasks.
- Support remote and on-site troubleshooting to validate system setup and connectivity.
- Document implementation details, including system configurations and customizations.
- Facilitate the hand-off of systems to operational teams and provide deployment support.
- Track and report on implementation progress, risks, and deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or solutions architecture.
- Strong background in network topology, system integration, and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience deploying or supporting physical access control systems (PACS) or related IT systems.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and design tools.
- Demonstrated ability to produce network diagrams and architecture documentation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with system deployment methodologies and IT service management practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certification in architecture or security frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, CCNA, or equivalent).
- Experience managing projects in regulated or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams.
