Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING
Our Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) team is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the United States Navy PMA-281 program, specifically the Tomahawk Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
THE WORK
As the LM-VF US project lead for TMPC, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical systems and software that enable the US Navy's mission planning capabilities as well as perform leadership tasks for scheduling, budgeting, proposals, etc.
This role includes the following efforts:
* Lead a team of engineers responsible for managing external system interfaces, developing and maintaining Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), and identifying benefits/impacts to operational TMPC software.
* Provide daily technical direction to a team of engineers covering imagery/geospatial intelligence, systems analysis related to targeting, weaponeering, mission planning systems/software, and interfaces management across TMPC.
* Develop and maintain technical reports and customer briefings, leveraging your strong technical writing skills and system/software engineering expertise.
* Collaborate with Program Management to shape future strategy, develop roadmaps for growth, and manage functional areas across the program (e.g., staffing profile, financial reporting/budgets, contracting questions).
* Support capture activities, including leading proposals for follow-on contracts and developing technical/cost volumes and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) completion.
* Present tasking status to senior staff and government representatives at regular customer engagements, requiring occasional travel.
WHO WE ARE
You will join a diverse team of around 5 engineers on the Tomahawk Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) team, a project within the C4ISR market segment of the C6ISR Line of Business in Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) division. This position is at the LM Valley Forge site in King of Prussia with occasional opportunities to work from home.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in leading teams and managing projects. You possess excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are comfortable working in a team environment, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership and government representatives. Your have experience presenting to customers and are comfortable interfacing with external contacts. You currently posses a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI sponsorship and are able to travel occasionally to support PMA-281 program office meetings, customer engagements at operational planning sites, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
* Strong working knowledge of imagery and geospatial intelligence systems
* Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
* Demonstrated conceptual thinker with effective project management skills
* Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
* Demonstrated technical, leadership and team building abilities
* Experience working with inter-organizational teams and external customers/users
* Demonstrated experience in report/technical documentation preparation
* Willingness to travel
Desired Skills:
* USN domain experience
* Well-versed in USN targeting, weaponeering, battle damage assessment, imagery exploitation, and/or mission planning
* Familiarity with intelligence community imagery, geospatial products, and data formats
* Operational view/Concept of Operations (CONOPs) generation
* Working knowledge of DoD target planning and associated systems
* LM CAM certified and experience
* Risk & opportunity management experience
* Ability to work effectively with various levels of program management throughout the Enterprise
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
