The team is part of the Global Experiences (GXP) group, specifically focusing on a new product aimed at supporting customers in enabling new ways of working and connecting in the workplace. The product addresses return-to-office and hybrid work scenarios. This role will contribute to creating documentation to help customers transform their workplace management and return-to-office strategies.

The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as end-user and support documentation.  The role will consist of 70% heads-down work and 30% meetings and is associated with a new product aimed at enabling new ways of working and connecting in the workplace.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 6-7+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or Certifications Required: None required.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in creating documentation for a technical audience, the ability to read some programming code, and excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with workplace technology is nice to have.
• Experience with scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilties: 

• Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
• Confer with clients to establish technical specifications and determine subject material to be developed for publication.

• Minimum 5+ years experience with presentation software.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with spreadsheet tools.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with word processing software.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52 to $54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
