Responsible for the software and technology-related hardware assets within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring and recording software license and/or hardware assets through the technology asset lifecycle. Requires advanced data analysis, exception identification and remediation, risk mitigation, compliance tracking, develop and maintain processes and communications, client service request support, complex contract renewals, advanced tool support, governance, controls, and reporting. Demonstrates subject matter expertise, knowledge and experience in multiple key functions of IT Asset Management, the ability to train and coach other less experienced teammates, and communicates clearly to both peers and management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure appropriate governance and metrics are in place to maintain a complete and accurate technology asset inventory.
2. Develops, maintains, and ensures proper execution of processes and procedures associated with at least one phase of the IT Asset Management and Technology Lifecycle Management (ITAM/TLM) program.
3. Maintain and support IT Asset Management processes and communications.
4. Provide Governance support for IT Asset Management tools and processes.
5. Perform compliance reviews for standard, complex, and high priority hardware and software related products and remediate/optimize as needed.
6. Analyze asset inventory data, monitor and complete remediation as needed.
7. High degree of knowledge and experience supporting and maintaining IT Asset Management related tools.
8. Support and/or lead Hardware/Software audits (internal and external) including mitigating any risks identified.
9. Support and/or lead specialized projects related to technology asset management.
10. Develop, maintain, and provide key metrics and reporting to support business decisions and performance monitoring.
11. Remediate non-tolerant metrics and/or risk remediation findings as needed.
12. Provide support for hardware and software client service request escalations.
13. Support complex software and hardware contract renewals and provide reporting and asset data to sourcing and supplier management teams.
14. Provide coaching and training to less experienced team members.
15. Provide team activity reporting updates to leadership.
16. Supports efforts to ensure ITAM Discipline is adhered to across all aspects of the ITAM Process.
17. Identifies, manages and reports technology asset management cost savings opportunities.
18. Implement optimization and automation opportunities across all aspects of the ITAM Discipline.
19. Subject matter expert for at least one strategic IT vendor software and hardware technologies and license agreement(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in a technology or finance related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and / or work experience
2. Eight years of related experience or equivalent knowledge and proven success.

5. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
6. Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
