Job Title: "Trauma-Informed Clinician/Therapist with Comprehensive Training Opportunities"
Reports to: Clinical Director
Location: Bennington, Vermont

- Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field license eligible
- Valid driver's license and 21+ years of age
- Satisfactory completion of background and pre-employment check
- Quarterly training and professional development
- Comprehensive training in CBT, DBT, and EMDR within the first 18 months
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): In-depth training on CBT principles and techniques, focusing on identifying and challenging cognitive distortions, developing coping strategies, and enhancing problem-solving skills.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Training covers the four key modules of DBT: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, with practical applications for clients with emotional dysregulation and complex trauma.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Training includes the eight phases of EMDR therapy, from history-taking to desensitization and reprocessing traumatic memories, with advanced techniques for complex trauma cases.
- Supervision hours toward licensure

- Provide individual, group, and family therapy and case management services.
- Maintain data related to clinical services and submit to the Clinical Director as requested.
- Participate in treatment, permanency, and discharge planning with students, families, and agency personnel involved with students.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and associated documentation, including but not limited to psychosocial reports, ITPs, case notes, CAFAS reports, and other required assessments, correspondence with relevant stakeholders, and monthly reports.
- Collaborate with consulting psychiatrists as it relates to medication management, including the incidence of side effects.
- Maintain clinical license or status on state registry.
- Understand and adhere to the administrative structure, chain of command, and program philosophy of VPI.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
