
Our global manufacturing client is seeking a detial-oriented Content Specialist to play a crucial role in the final stages of their content migration to a new Sitecore CMS platform. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of our B2B blog and resource center content, including articles and case studies. You will be responsible for both content quality assurance (QA) and image alt tag optimization. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant digital transformation project and gain valuable experience with a leading CMS platform. Must have excellent writing and editing/proofreading skills and be familiar with CMS systems and alt tags.
Responsibilities:
- Content QA & Proofreading:
- Thoroughly review migrated articles and case studies within the new Sitecore CMS to identify discrepancies between the old and new content.
- Perform meticulous proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Ensure consistent application of brand voice and style guidelines.
- Utilize CMS components to add and modify content as needed.
- Image Alt Tag Optimization:
- Audit 1500+ images within the Sitecore CMS to identify missing or inadequate alt tags.
- Implement a strategy for assigning appropriate alt tags, including: Copying existing alt tags where applicable, Writing new, descriptive alt tags for new images, Utilizing provided AI tools to assist in alt tag creation and Ensure all alt tags are accurate, concise, and adhere to accessibility best practices.
- CMS Proficiency:
- Become proficient in using the Sitecore CMS platform for content management and editing.
- Understand and utilize CMS components effectively.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30-35 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
