Summary:

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Senior Digital Payments Product Manager within consumer and small business payments. This role will be a part of the team driving the transformation of our digital payment product suite and will help deliver innovative payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Successful candidates will be customer-obsessed, with a passion for delivering transformative digital payment experiences in a large organization.

The Senior Digital Payments Product Manager will support money movement capabilities across retail and small business banking customers that may include transfers, P2P, bill pay, remote deposit and digital wallets. This individual will have a strong understanding of the market and technology trends driving the future of digital payments. Candidates will bring their direct experience to help build digital payment capabilities to acquire new customers, drive engagement, and deepen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute on product roadmap aligned with business goals
• Partner with business, fraud, and other key stakeholders to enable money movement solutions that meet customer needs while protecting the bank by managing fraud and risk
• Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs in support of digital payments
• Support product outcomes and strategy, and drive towards the target-state vision, create exceptional digital payment experiences and products with measurable business outcomes and customer benefits
• Create and manage key business and customer metrics as well as the related processes and policies, including fraud, risk and controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create exceptional customer experiences through digital payment products with measurable business outcomes and customer benefits
• Champion customer needs, using data and insights to drive product strategy
• Set clear OKRs, KPIs and KRIs to achieve goals, measure performance and manage risk
• Leverage data and voice of customer to inform decision-making and product enhancements
• Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks effectively
• Represent the digital organization by leading and demonstrating the role of strong product management

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of payments product management experience within banking, fintech, or financial services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
• Experience with vendor/provider ecosystem
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements with experience working in a regulated industry, financial services preferred
• Analytic experience to evaluate business opportunities through a data driven approach
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization working with multiple internal teams
• Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls required to effectively manage payment products
• Strong customer focus and ability to translate insights into product vision
• Proven experience in setting and delivering against strategic goals
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
