As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist and part of the Electronic Solutions (ES) team here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives in the Aerospace Technologies (AERO) business unit. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.
The successful candidate will be skilled inelectrical design, board layouts, schematics, and experience usingCAD programs.
Honeywell's Electronic Solutions (ES) is a worldwide leader in the development of flight controls, displays, guidance and navigation systems and inertial instruments. The Glendale, AZ ES facility has a 40-year heritage of designing, developing, and manufacturing extremely high reliability products for manned and unmanned space applications.
You will report directly to our Sr Systems Eng Manager, and you'll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 90% PWB layouts and schematics
- 10% Drawing anddocumentation reviewand release
- Implementing designs and recommending changes updates
- Digital/Analog Electrical design
- CCA (Circuit Card Assembly)
- Relocation support may be provided

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience inPWB design/layouts and schematics
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
WE VALUE
- Proficient inTeamcenter, NX, Ansys, SolidWorks, MSC Nastran or NS Nastran
- Experience using CAD programs, specifically, Mentor'
- Individuals who are ambitious and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or required to by events
- Ability to easily and effectively juggle many priorities and challenging demands
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Creative problem solving
- Experience with Mentor EE design software
- Highly skilled in Word andAdobe Acrobat
