Major Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and systems.

• Follow calibration procedures. Accesses and uses all sources (e.g. manuals, tech support, internet, peers) for needed technical information needed to support familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation.

• Review calibration documents. Create or review certificates of calibration.

• Investigate and review out-of-tolerance events.

• Write and review SOPs.

• Train other members of the team on various calibration techniques.

• Manage and/or perform new instrument on-boarding processes (IQ, OQ, PQ, etc).

• Coordinate vendor activities.

• Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance schedules within LIMS.

• Provide technical support for operations in maintenance and installation of data loggers.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment OR a bachelor's degree in a scientific field and at least 3 years of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
