Responsible for performing preventive maintenance, calibration duties, and verify proper calibration procedures. Train other colleagues on calibration techniques and maintain calibration schedules.Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Follow calibration procedures. Accesses and uses all sources (e.g. manuals, tech support, internet, peers) for needed technical information needed to support familiar and unfamiliar laboratory instrumentation.
Review calibration documents. Create or review certificates of calibration.
Investigate and review out-of-tolerance events.
Write and review SOPs.
Train other members of the team on various calibration techniques.
Manage and/or perform new instrument on-boarding processes (IQ, OQ, PQ, etc).
Coordinate vendor activities.
Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance schedules within LIMS.
Provide technical support for operations in maintenance and installation of data loggers.
Education:
High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment OR a bachelor's degree in a scientific field and at least 3 years of experience performing calibrations within a cGMP regulated environment.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$30.75 - $44.50 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
