Please review the following job description:

Provide technical expertise and leadership to internal business clients for their Cybersecurity related data needs including KRIs, KPIs, Metrics, and reporting. Work with Security Operations Management, external vendors, and internal lines of business for the oversight, creation and communication of the Security Operations program metrics. Provide backup and burst capability around Security Operations risk management such as issues management, risk and control evaluation, and regulatory requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential job functions. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change.

  • Collaborate with Security Operations leaders, internal IT groups, and lines of business in evaluating, gathering, and cataloging data for creating KRIs, KPIs, Operational Metrics, Operational Measures, and reporting.
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for distribution to management up to and including Board level metrics and reports.
  • Oversee and conduct analyses to guide program strategy and develop short- and long-term plans.
  • Manage and lead a monthly governance protocol for auditable evidence including agendas, notes, meeting minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Provide backup support to Security Operations risk and controls management, monthly updates for issues, coordinating regulatory responses, and drafting remediation plan evidence packages.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology related field or equivalent education and related training
  • Five years of demonstrated progressive experience in Cybersecurity experience
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity terms, concepts, disciplines and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Financial Services industry and all applicable regulations and industry standards
  • Previous Risk Management or Cyber Security Experience in Financial Services
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, etc.). technology related field
  • Experience with Metrics, Reporting, and/or Operational Measures
  • Experience within a 1st Line of Defense function such as issues management, exception management, and/or findings management
  • Five+ years of experience in a top 10 U.S. bank or large multinational bank
  • Familiarity with RSA’s Archer Application or other GRC platforms
