As a Lead Administrative Engineering Associate II at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives in the Navigation and Sensors business unit. You will support a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met. You will report directly to our Engineering Director, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the engineering organization, including scheduling, document management, expense tracking, procurement coordination, and facilitating communication to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform comprehensive administrative support to the engineering team, helping ensure efficient operations
* Assist with travel booking and expense reports
* Coordinate office logistics, including moves, computer setup, supplies, and facility issues
* Support staffing processes and help onboard new hires
* Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and arrange catering
* Order and track engineering prototype materials
* Handle purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice follow-ups
* Assist with U.S. shipping coordination
* Provide general support by answering inquiries, gathering information, and managing records

YOU MUST HAVE
* Associate's degree in business administration, office management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams), SAP, and procurement tools
* Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and stakeholders
* Adaptability to changing project requirements, tools, and processes
