The Role
Asset Management Data Services, Compliance & Operation Technology team is looking for a Software Engineer who will work within agile based team model to deliver common capabilities.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. We are looking for highly motivated individual with strong engineering focus and passion for building complex distributed systems.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or related technical field and over 2+ years of software development experience
- Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience in REST API development
- Understanding of AI/ML and predictive model outputs
- Familiarity with Deep Learning algorithms, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, T5, or similar preferred
- Cloud development experience e.g., AWS preferred
- Understanding of the Asset Management (specifically Compliance) domain is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile team
- Ability to communicate with peers and business partners clearly and effectively
- Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building, designing, and reviewing code
- Proactive working style with ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities at once
- Out of the box problem solving skills and willingness to learn and experiment new technologies.
The Team
You will be part of the Compliance Engineering chapter aligned to the Data Services, Compliance & Operations technology domain. This chapter and corresponding squad support the Compliance function in Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment compliance tools.
